The Cave Creek Museum is a unique museum that preserves the history, culture, and legacy of Cave Creek and the area. The museum is located at the base of Black Mountain and is a traditional southwest-style building. The museum’s history is steeped in the traditions of the pioneers who lived and worked in the area. The museum began as a historical society in 1968, when Frank and Hazel Wright donated the land for the museum. Donations of local history began to pour in.
